Sophie De Smet is a BCU graduate and illustrator based in the UK. A multitude of techniques is utilized including appropriation, digital, watercolour, and linework with pen and ink. Whilst her collage style creates surreal plains and a space for escapism her drawings prove to be translative, almost romantically reductive. Sophie is fascinated by the 1960’s, dreams, memory, portraits and the absurd.
